What size are the cabins?
Our units follow standard dimensions and come fitted with telescopic jacklegs, allowing them to be safely levelled on uneven or sloping ground. This makes them ideal for construction site accommodation and temporary office spaces.
Is a site inspection needed?
Typically, no site inspection is required. If access is limited or the site has challenges, our team may complete a brief inspection to ensure smooth and safe cabin delivery.
Do jackleg cabins need foundations?
No formal foundations are required. Each jackleg cabin simply needs a small compacted area, such as hardcore, concrete blocks, or slabs, under each footing. This keeps installation quick and cost-effective.
Is planning permission required?
In most cases, no. Temporary site cabins are considered short-term structures. We would always recommend checking with your local planning office for confirmation.
Do the cabins have electricity/heating?
Yes. All hire units are pre-wired and ready for connection by a registered electrician, ensuring quick setup on site. Units also come with electric wall-mounted heaters for a warm and comfortable working environment year-round.
What windows and doors do the units have?
All units come with a secure 10-point locking steel door and UPVC double-glazed tilt-and-turn windows, complete with steel shutters, ideal for secure site accommodation.
Can the units be stacked?
Yes. Jackleg cabins can be stacked double height with external stairs. Anti-vandal cabins can be stacked up to three-high with external stairs. This allows flexible and space-efficient site accommodation layouts.
Do you do the ground works?
Yes. Groundworks can be arranged as an additional service to support your temporary accommodation setup.
Do you connect to services (water,foul,electricity)?
No. All utility connections must be carried out by authorised and qualified professionals.
